For Askers only: When a question can be answered with a quick, simple web search, why do you ask on Y!A?
I'm referring to simple factual questions, such as "What is the largest species of fish?", "When does daylight savings time begin this year?" or "What does 'G.I.' mean as in G.I. Joe?"
OK. Let me explain.
Each of the examples I have given are actual questions asked on Y!A that I have answered. (I slightly reworded them to eliminate spelling and grammatical errors.) In each case, if I didn't already know the answer, I Googled the keywords, evaluated the results and found the answers within 30 seconds.
So, for askers who ask such questions, why do you use 5 points to ask a question only to wait for an answer, when you could easily find the answer on your own in less than a minute?
(What Kind of Mind?: Y!A is certainly NOT a web search.)

Yahoo answers is a quick and simple web search.
I don't understand why you're asking this question.
