I can't find Ethyl Ether in any stores, why?
Anyone know how I can get a few ounces of Ethyl Ether cheap without having to give up my privacy rights? I need more to help with my butterfly collection.

Go to your auto parts store and bye yourself a can of starter fluid.

The problem with this chemical (in addition to any drug use it has) is that it peroxidizes. It absorbs oxygen from the air and incorporates it into explosive molecules. If you only need it for a butterfly collection, get a can of auto starter fluid and see if you can drain off the pressure. That's ether. Or you may be able to spray a wad of cotton for your purposes.

Yeh ether is no longer available. We use to use it at our veterinary surgery to euthanise baby mice and baby possums, but can no longer buy it.
