Rat poison in kitty food in U.S.?

Mine doesn't either but i'm no longer giving him wet food unless it's hollistic. This forced me to do my research... they put saw dust in for fiber and cat and dog carcass in for protein. This menu foods makes everything from nutro to store brands which means they're all the same.. i think i'll be buying only eagle pack from now on.. In the philly area 12 cats have died i'm not sure if it's national or what.

Yes i just found out about and i copied the article and they will investgate it and they are going to let people know about it this week and they will find out who did it and if it was done deliberate. The poison is illegal in the US. It will be on the ABC News tonight and I will be watching it. They said the toll will get higher and I hope they find out who did this and do something about it now.

Yes, from what I heard it was a pesticide that had been sprayed on the wheat.

How sad, my heart just breaks for anyone who lost a pet or who's pet is sick because of this.

I just thank God that I've never feed my cats any of the food that was recalled.

Yes..it's all over the news. They are saying that the culprit might be the wheat imported from china that was sprayed with rat poison.

There are Canadian articles too. I'm from Canada as well, from the East. I fed one pouch of the Nutro stuff a couple months ago, but my cat didn't like it, thank goodness!! I never bought it again.
