1. They might have since changed their names
2. Gone for winding-up
3. Taken over or merged
4. In-active for quite sometime now.

Sorry, i remember have read in paper, i do not know latest news. You can get details from Registrar of Companies in India, verify at their web page. You can also enquire them by post, but it takes long.
