Sentosa. You can spend an entire day there. There is an Underwater World, Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom, Fort Siloso, Palawan Beach, Herb & Spice Garden, The Merlion, Images of Singapore, Spas resorts & many many more interesting attractions!

Personally my favourites are Little India, Chinatown, Colonial District, Sentosa, Jurong Birdpark, Night Safari and the Singapore Zoo.

Out of these, I would recommend Little India, Sentosa and Night Safari if you only have one day to spare.

There are lots of other lovely places in Singapore, but guess it's hard to cover them considering you only have one full day in Singapore.

If you love adventure: Visit Sentosa...siloso beach,butterfly park,merlion,musical fountain,luge...so many things to do there.

If you want some peace and quiet: Singapore Botanical Gardens.Its just beautiful and so gorgeus.Not dirty and plants are not so boring after they renovated it(i think)...

If you are a food lover: Tekka Market Briyani Stall.Queue might be long but its the best briyani in s'pore.Chicken Rice and wanton mee are must-try in s'pore.

if you like the sun and sea - I'd encourage you to go to Sentosa! And if you still have time after dinner, go to the Night Safari then straight from the to the airport .

Sentosa is a lot of fun, But orange street has all of the clubs and shops.

Have a drink (singapore sling) on the verandah of Raffles hotel
