What tools are available to non server admins for gathering Web server file data?

Are there any scripts or tools that can be run from the desktop or via posting a file (like ASP) to the Web server which will produce data such as "how many, and which files, haven't been updated in (x) days, months?"

Update:

Is there some type of Web scrapper software that will report back data (not gather copies of Web files)? I am not a server admin, but I need to grab data about my Website, such as how many files are there? by file type, by last modified date, by size, etc.
