I see women on here who say that men should have no say in abortion?

But arent males and females alike aborted? and does this mean only soldiers should have a say in war, only bankers should have a say in the economy? This is of course not all women, just a few. I understand both sides of the abortion issue, and Im not sexist, so dont worry.

I agree that its the women body and all but its the males child too. I think to have an abortion both parties have to agree. If a women has an abortion they say its her right. But if a man kills a pregnant women he gets 2 counts of murder. I just don't see the fairness in it. Which is one of the reasons I don't agree with abortion. Its not fair for a man to lose a child because she doesn't want it. You make a really good point!

I'll have to agree with you! Men should have a decision in abortion. Women wouldn't even have to debate the issue if men weren't apart of it. It takes a man and a woman to make a baby, so the man has just as much right as the woman does.

LAME DUCK: Science has figured out how to incubate a baby without the mother.. it's just not a wonderful idea!!

I heard this honest argument a 300 and sixty 5 days in the past: a guy purely makes one incorrect decision. Having unprotected intercourse. that's a similar decision the female made. however the female is often on top of issues. she would be able to compliment to abort the fetus, or supply it up for adoption. the father has no say interior the issue. i don't be attentive to approximately discontinuing compelled infant help, yet neither do i think of it is going to stay unchanged with out some genuine questioning.

I don't think they don't have any say. I think that if a man was to become a father, but the mother didn't want the child then they should work them out themselves. What I have a problem with are men who are against abortion when they will NEVER have to face having a child on their own. To be 100% honest, their official job with the child is over after they ejaculate. There is nothing that says the man HAS to stay with the woman and many of them don't. They will never know what it is like to be pregnant and have to care for a child that long. They can't know what it is like so they can't be against something they will never truely understand, and something that does not effect them as much as it effects women.

Not really. It isn't just women in general who have the only say in abortion issues, it is those women carrying undeveloped embryos who have the right to decide whether they wish to give birth to that embryo.

Everyone has a say in war because war affects everyone. Women have the only say in aborting an embryo because dong so only affects them.

The baby is just as much his, as it is hers. Its odd that in order to give a child up for adoption you must have the fathers consent, but not to abort it? It makes no sense. There wouldn't be a fetus if he didn't participate.

  • A man can certainly have an opinion. A father-to-be has no say in what the mother-to-be "chooses" to do, however, if she chooses the unconscionable, he has to live with the horror (that his child was murdered) for the rest of his life.

They mean that men are not allowed to express their PRO-LIFE views.

You don't ever see them telling pro-choice men their views are unwanted.

I see abortion as primarily benefitting men, who would have to pay child support otherwise.

Let's face it, women still do a lion's share of the parenting.

That always disgusted me when a woman says: 'It is my body and if I want to abort the baby, I could'.

That is complete and utter nonsense. Don't you know that it takes TWO (2) to create a child. Humans are not asexuals. Even if you got artificial insemination, you still had to use SOMEONE'S sperm.

That child is the product of BOTH parents. BOTH parents should have a say. If you really don't want your lover, husband, boyfriend, stranger or whoever to have a say over your body-- don't give that person your body in the first place!!!!

    COMMON SENSE, PEOPLE!!! USE IT!!!!!

It's not that, it is the body issue. As a man you do not have to deal with the body issues. There are a lot things that happen to a woman when she is pregnant.

I'm almost inclined to say that all the posts that blame the woman for "spreading her legs". So if she's the only one who did that, shouldn't she be the only one responsible?
