Try to bleed out the system ASAP and see what happens if you experience any problems with the seals, Go to a Midas shop they are pretty reasonable and tell them to bleed the brake system it will not cost you a grand!!!

If you only put a little in the reservoir, you could try to suck all the fluid out of the reservoir with a turkey baster or something and then put fresh brake fluid in. Do that several times over several weeks and if the brakes act normally, maybe your ok. But the brake fluid is rated for thousands of psi pressure which transmission fluid is not. So it might be best just to have your brakes bled.

#1 fill the master cylinder with the appropriate brake fluid

#2 Pump some fluid all the way through the system (don't bleed the master cylinder all the way this will just make it take longer)

3# Repeat the other steps enough times until you feel that what is coming out is just brake fluid

    #4 bleed as normal.

in case you open your gadget up(benefit get admission to to the enclosed brake gadget) by disconnecting the traces on the grasp cylinder, and on the calibers, you're able to be able to desire to definitely then use compressed air to blow the traces loose. The grasp cylinder, besides because of the fact the wheel calibers could could desire to maximum possibly be bumped off to scrub and sparkling them(flushed out) yet not something a pair of cans of "brake purifier" could not cope with while they have been drained. as far as having to by new rotors, pads, and the different factors that don't even come into touch with the fluid the save is taking you for a holiday and "brake"ing into your wallet. You dont choose all those factors, ordinary, yet there is alot of hard artwork in contact and which you gotta pay for. as quickly as its aside , examine the pads replace them new if something

since you dont know much about breaks it is very inportant to have someone that knows something do them. What you need to do is shop around for the best price.

dont listen to these people that are trying to tell you how to bleed your breaks. You dont need to bleed your breaks you need to completly clean the system or your breaks will gum up and lock you up at a stop light with a thousand people stuck behind you.

    shop for a pro.
