It may sound silly to ask, but will you feel uninvited if you enter the Ferrari showroom penniless?

Why would you go there if you are not planning to buy? Just to look at the cars? OK, nothing wrong with that, but tell the sales people right away that you are not buying and simply want to look. They are not extremely busy at those dealerships and they'll show you the cars.

If you pretend you are buying or tell them a story about "your dad coming in later ..." they'll see through you and although they'll still treat you nice, you WILL feel uninvited.

Places that sell higher end cars tend to be very different environments than lots selling commuter cars. At a Ferrari dealer, they may have a total of 10-20 cars on the lot, with a few salesmen working at a time. Salemen here do not make sales every day, and the majority of people that wander in do so simply to gawk and dream as opposed to seriously consider buying.

Compared to the local Honda dealer for example, where they have 10+ salesmen working at time with hundreds of cars on the lots, and sales expectations that account to multiple units per salesman.

For the former, being nice and spending time for what could one day develop into a future sale if a lottery goes the right way is something to do if there is not a real sale possibility at that moment. For the later, time wasted on non-sales possibilities is too costly against the time available in a day. Bottom line, when you deal with cars in a certain price range, it takes much less sales!

Of course, it's still polite to simply note you are "just looking" in either environment. But after that, I think you will generally find higer end places are much more willing to help indulge us when we dream.

I would say manual in your case that sort of sums up all work done by you, its not as if you have done an apprenticeship to be skilled and the rest is pretty self explanatory,hope this helps, if not try a different insurer you might get a better choice ,by the way if you only want to get the car home after buying it then norwhich union give you a free weeks cover over the phone

don't waste a salesmans time or "up". Many highline dealerships use an up system, if you are not buying, tell the receptionist you are there just to look, don't ask for help. This way the can take the next opportunity that may be a buyer.

No I used to go to the import store here locally called Exotic Imports and just browse, 99.9% of the time I was never even bothered by the salesman, I knew I couldnt afford a Lamborghini and so did they.
