An uncle of mine had some hardware that would allow you to just play it straight out of your PC, but he said it won't work with newer pcs. Of cource you can get a "sterio male to male headphone jack cord." (Radioshack) Plug the cord into the microphone imput in the back of your PC and the other end into the headphone jack of your tape player. If you dont have a sound recording program you can download "audacity." Its free and it works. Just play the tape and hit record!

you're able to do it your self! in case you be conscious of a thank you to connect a line enter into your workstation sound card. you may wish an audio recording software, yet once you have Nero, there's a recorder geared up into their application suite. in my opinion, i exploit Steinberg sparkling V5. It enables me to eliminate tape hiss and different noises, plus it could additionally be used to augment and remaster the unique recordings.

I wonder the same thing. I am guessing you need some special software to do it.
