Christians. What would you have believed if you were born in 2000 BC?
ie before the birth of Moses and his religious laws.
Judy you are happy with the fact that no one born in 2000 BC will be saved by Jesus. Thank you.
0330, nothing personal but you are a mental defective. Try thinking for a change. It helps.
casian, I did not say 2000 years ago, I said 2000BC. You are right there were no Christians. Neither were there Jews who had a religious book. Jews did not even have a written language then. So how do you know what those Jews worshipped?
Jimmy B, you do understand what BC means don't you? You could not be born Christian 2000 years before his birth and understand Christianity unless you were a prophet. Do you think you would have been a prophet?
walther2, you are the same as 0330. Try reading and thinking. It does help.
Innokent, at least you thought about it. But if you were born especially for this time aren't you saying that the people of 2000BC have no way of getting into Heaven? Why were they born then?
Vacation, you are flailing around. Adam and Abraham taught no gospel. Even if they did it would not have included Jesus your Messiah. Ask any Jew. By the way they are all a myth as is Moses the other character you brought in.
Praveen you think you are so wonderful I'm going to elect you the next prophet. You are just so sensitive and all knowing that you just can't put it into words.
Matthew, again, you can't be a Jew in 2000BC with Christian principles. The Jews do not accept Jesus as their Messiah because they were looking for something totally different. They wanted to be saved on the physical plane, not the spiritual. Perhaps it's easier to understand if I say that when he did turn up the majority were happy to see him dead.
That's because he was not the messiah of their bible.

Most likely I'd believe some form of paganism, but of course, there is also the fact that I was created for the here and now. Would I be "me" in that case? I've never been too terribly sure of the metaphysics behind this sort of speculation.

Well if I lived in Salem of Mesopotamia/ Sumeria I would have been Monotheistic under the King Melchizedek. He was the high priest and believed in the most high God. Jesus the Christ later was called the high priest in that very order as it was written later on in the book of Hebrews of the new testament. The eternal God the most high is not limited by time as we are. Jesus said " before Abraham was, I am".

Probably the gospel as taught by Adam, Abraham and any other prophet that has ever taught God's gospel. It's the same as the Gospel that Moses and Christ taught. Any prophet called of God will teach the same gospel no matter what time he is in. God does not change so his Gospel will not change either.

This is a great question ! I'm not a christian so i wont answer, but i know what the answer should be! Alright I'll answer: It would have to be a pagan religion or nothing. Was there anything else back then?

well....according to Christian belief, humans on the Earth at that time weren't oblivious to God. So, if a Christian was born in 2,000 B.C. they would most likely believe in God. Set laws and religious texts aren't a prerequisite for a belief.

The laws of Adam and the early Judaic principles and doctrine. I would be thinking when will Christ be born and will my fellow Judains accept Him as the Christ there Savior and King!!!!!

since the spirit of god (breadth of god) would be in me (as it gives life) , i would have beleived in god because my sensitive nature would have allowd me to listen to my conciousness that would have been led by the spirit of god to draw more close to god. I would not only have known about moses but also about jesus also until righteous people reach eternity.
