First of all, take a vitamin for your hair that has biotin in it. Most people don't get enough of the vitamin so our hair tends to be not as nice as men's hair whenever we grow it out. Unless you want to keep having lots of split ends and breakage, you're going to have to cut the ones you've got. Once the damage is done there is no miracle cream that's going to repair them. I have to part with 6 inches of hair every year in the summertime whenever the pool and sun fries the ends. It's a hard thing to do but hair grows back, and if you're taking care of it it will grow back healthier. Avoid permanent hair color--if you want to color your hair use semi permanent because it washes out in 30 days without any damage. And you have to color your hair every month anyway because of the roots--so you're not losing anything by going safe.

Brush your hair with a natural bristle brush before washing your hair. It helps spread some natural oils that would otherwise be washed completely from your hair. Invest in good shampoo and conditioner--I love Bedhead's Moisture Maniac. Store bought shampoos are as strong as laundry detergent--and you wouldn't wash your hair with laundry detergent. Try deep conditioning your hair 1-2 times a week. I love Bedhead's Dumb Blonde because it's very creamy and takes about 10 minutes instead of the regular 30 minutes.

Wash your hair less frequently--if you wash it every day, start washing it every other day. Use a dime-to-quarter sized drop on your roots ONLY. Rub it into your scalp with the pads of your fingers, rinse, and wash once more. When using conditioner work it from ends to roots. Leave it on there for 5 minutes and rinse with cooler water. Be sure to use the cool setting on your hair dryer and use as little styling product as possible. Some good ones are Biolage Gel, Mousse, and Hair Spray, and Redken Glass is great for making your hair vibrantly shiney.

It sounds like a lot of work but once you get used to everything it's second nature. You get what you pay for in the case of shampoos and other hair products. Going more expensive for salon quality products means 1) no harsh chemicals, 2) you use less of the product because of the richer consistency, and 3) you save yourself from a lot of damage.

    I hope this helps! :)

split ends need to be cut off. go for a hair cut at a good place (doesn't have to be expensive, just good) tell them to cut off all thats dead. buy a good mousturizing shampoo and conditioner (i like the new herbal essences stuff in the blue bottles) and some hair serum (any type will do) while your at the drug store ask the pharmacist to recommend a dandruff shampoo. get rid of the dandruff before starting your hair regime. as for your hair falling out, see your doctor and/or buy some rogaine. sometimes it can't be helped. dry hair shouldn't be washed too often. every other day is good. conditioner is key to dealing with dry hair. use lots.

Of course it has to be the best shampoo to get rid of split ends for me I use Loreal brands. But may i suggest to use Johnson's Baby Mild oil with Less grease to work on that split ends. It really does help.
