Why wont my avatar show in the box?

i checked the avatar box

Update 2:

I did all that was posted. No avatar!

    Go to "My Profile" "Edit My Info" and select it.

    When u log on to this you have to change ur portrait to Avatar

    u may have to redo ur avitar this time make sure when u check it that u also check use this selection for every then ok

    u might also need to update ur yahoo messenger

    Sometimes mine doesn't show up either and then............poof it's back! lol
