In october sky, how did the pricipal and Dr. VonBraun inspire homer to follow his dream of building rockets?
I think that Dr. VonBraun sent him a signed picture with a response to Homer, but I'm not sure what Homer's principal did

It actually wasn't the prinicpal who aslo inspired him...it was his math and science teacher Miss Riley who was the other influence. She was Homer's voice of support when all of those around him thought he was doing silly stuff and such with the Rocket boys. The prinicipal only wanted to catch Homer in trouble most of the time with his rockets.
