Being fiercely independand and possessed of uncommonly strong wills and personalities that we, Heathens, Odinists, Asatruar do not always work well together. I would dearly love to see ALL those of us who walk with the Aesir and Vanir unite under one single banner. If it were to happen we could become a force to be truly reckoned with. Unfortunately, even with all the strong, powerful and respected leadership among us, finding a leader (or even a group of leaders) that the entirety of those of us that walk that path would be willing to follow. In all honesty I dont think that the Asatru community as a whole is truly ready for the kind of unification you suggest. There are just too many ideologocal differences that too many of us are not ready to set aside. I eagerly await the time when that changes...but it isn't yet.

The way you write, you couldn't find your car in an empty parking lot.
Source(s): Please. I wish I had $5 dollars for every fool who said that and never did. But in any case, bring it. I haven't crushed any fools head for a couple of years now, and yours is no different. Hows that, Rooster Fish? - ALv 61 decade ago
Magi 2000: "Go for it. . . whenever religions combine, they die. I try to encourage these attempts among the pagans."
-- No, they don't die, they change. This is how Christianity, Hinduism and many many other religions came to be as they are today.

I think we have, generally speaking. You don't see us all running around striking down all others as wrong do you? We all hold the same motto - fairy tales aren't real and no force.
AND not all pagans worships gods.

Sounds nice, but I'm an atheist. I would not fit in with people who worship any gods, no matter how civilized. But I'm on your side! :)

Look an Ecumenical.
Go for it. . . whenever religions combine, they die. I try to encourage these attempts amoung the pagans.
Source(s): Aurora Dawn, you can join the movement to. It's full of idiots who think themselves to be intellectuals - you'll fit right in. fireyhairedfairy: when faiths combine, they are forced to compromise. Wtih comprimise comes distrust and distrust is eventually followed by downfall. Examples: Greece, Rome, Persia, Catholic Empire. P.S. Christianity wasn't formed by combining any religions - it is the natural and originally intended progression of Judism (which is clearly taught in the Talmud). Catholiscism on the other hand was formed by combing multiple faiths with Christianity. However, I will again restate that Catholic and Christian are NOT the same thing.
