When Satan tempted Jesus, why wasn't he tempted sexually?

The Word Of God says Jesus was tempted at all points. There is no way that man has been tempted that Jesus has not also been tempted.

    Dear Max,

The Bible sometimes tells us things but doesn't explain them. i think that while living on earth as a man, Satan took shots at tempting Jesus sexually. The Bible tells us that He was tempted in all ways but was yet without sin- and so i imagine that Jesus was tempted sexually while he was walking on the earth.

In terms of when Satan took Jesus out to the wilderness- i'm not sure why he didn't tempt Jesus sexually but i think also the gospels describes it as just the two of them- so i'm not sure that Jesus would have found Satan sexually attractive and hence not the temptation perhaps.

    Hope that helps. Kindly,

    Nickster

Actually this verse from the HOLY BIBLE makes it very clear that Jesus Christ was tempted in "ALL POINTS" just like we are, and still was SINLESS. So we can safely say that Jesus Christ endured, and resisted all temptation to please GOD the Father. Of course, you won't see every temptation he faced written in the Bible.

    HEBREWS 4:14,15

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in ALL POINTS tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Because he used the tools in the environment to tempt Jesus. He used bread, because Jesus was starving. He used height, because Jesus was high up, and he used power, because Jesus came to bring peace on his first mission, not the sword.

Source(s): Jesus created humans, so if he wanted one, he could make one of his own.

Satan's not attracted to Jesus, and Jesus doesn't like Evil!

He was probably tired of sexual temptation at the time. How do you think he got 1/3 of the angels to rebel against Yahweh?

Cuz Jesus isn't turned on by ugly demons or inferior humans.

That and when you're fasting for 30 days, you're not exactly in 'peak' condition and I doubt you'd think about anything else but food and drink the first few hours.

Probably because the writer of that piece of fiction was one of those who believed sex to be evil and therefore left it out of that fairytale.

How hot can horns, a tail, and a pitchfork be?

But then again... have you seen the movie bedazzled?

I thought that went without saying.
