why do kittys....?

It's what they do as kittens to get milk from their mothers before they are weaned. It's called kneading or "making bread".

My kitten kneads my leg or stomach when she lays on me, kind of like making a nice cozy nest to lay on. Many consider it a compliment when a cat does this to a human as it indicates that they are very closely bonded to you and see you as their mother.

My 3 cats do that.

They think it makes the spot more comfortable.

Ether that or they just like putting their little claws in my satin blankets. haha.

they do it to make the spot more comfu for themselves i guess they are just used to it because when a kitten gets milk from its mother it does that then falls asleep.... I guess its just a natrual habit

BTW my cat does the same thing :P

I luv that. We call it making muffins. I think they do it cause it feels good. You know, how we stretch in the morn. Or mebbe they just want to make sure the surface is worthy of thier royal foot licking selfs!

Kittens do that to stimulate milk production from their mother when they are feeding. They do it as a source of comfort when they get older :D

well im and animal freak so i know alot about animals usally they do that because they like to fluff up their surface before they lay on it it makes it more compfy for them! hope i was a big help!!! mabye you should research about them to learn more about them.

they think they are making there bed more comfortable, cats and dogs both do it
