First plan on getting a prosthesis so your not so limited.
There are jobs that you can still do like a phone job, telemarketing, office desk job, greeter, night or day auditor at a hotel or motel, data entry, welder of circut boards. I'm sure there is more jobs, but what exactly are your qualifications education and training wise?
I have both my legs and still looking for work, because I do not have a degree in anything. If you don't either look into that too or getting technical computer training or something that doesn't require you to move around so much at this time.

Surely none wants to end his life.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

I would stay home and translate websites and documents.
~However, crutches would not slow me down and I can only speculate as I am not in that situation, that I would become even more determined to not allow my physical condition to get in the way of my living.

I guess I would have to find a desk job somewhere. I would definitely go to my county's government center first and see if they have any jobs available.
A lot of people work from home, maybe I would do that.
Good question.

i'd rule out construction, but there's plenty of things you can with just a computer; medical billing, writing, graphic design.
