Is a regular beach umbrella or table umbrella safe to use even if it is not made with SPF fabric?

I would think that having some kind of shelter from the sun at the beach would be better than no shelter at all.

    Just make sure to put sun screen on. The spray type is awesome! Its not greesy or sticky!

    Any umbrella will work but I never heard of an SPF umbrella, only SPF sunscreen.

    I think your statement is true it is better to have some shelter from the some so you will not get sun poisin.

    Maybe it's better than nothing but I wouldn't risk it.

    Get one from WalMart for $10.
