I am looking to purchase this play for my playreading committee, does antone know who holds the rights to it? It was published or produced in 1967.

The rights to the play are controlled by Samuel French. Scripts and more information (royalties, restrictions) are available on their website.

It's for a play reading committe. Private not public. No admission. Done in a home or classroom. No rights or royalties needed you can buy a copy at the book store or borrow it from a library.

For School public performances Sammuel French usually clears the rights.

For small theater you need to contact the copyright owner listed on the inside credits page of the play.

The rights are held by Samuel French, the publishing house specializing in theatrical material.
