How long until worms die in cats?
I have just given my cat a worming tablet (Advantage). How long until the worms are dead? Thanks so much.
*My cat has had fleas, the fleas are gone and now her appetite has increased by 5 times. I read the cat can ingest worms from the fleas - yuk.

Here is a link to information regarding worms in cats and dogs. You may want to follow in the recommended amount of time with another dose of deworming medication. Follow the directions of the manufacturer.

advantage is used for flea provention which in turn prevents tapeworms..if the worms are hookworms my advise to you is take the cat to the vet for worming and you will have to go back in 2 weeks for the second worming
