Whats your philosophy of older brothers? Are they helpful or just plain vile?

Older brothers are definitely the coolest thing that could ever happen to you. Who else would put up with your garbage without punching you in the head?

I was the oldest in my family, so I don't know what it's like to have an older brother.

My younger sister spent her childhood (and then the rest of her life) lying to me and about me, so I doubt she would regard older brothers as good things.

My little brother is five and a half years younger than me. We didn't really get to know each other until he graduated college. He's turned out to be a great person, and I like him a lot.

I wish I had an older brother. Not only could he have taught me much that would have been good to know, but people with older siblings seem to be able to deal with coworkers and classmates better.

With 2 older brothers (twins) my early years growing up shifted alternately from great to miserable. I could watch what they did and how our parents reacted to it and could then decide what I would do later. On the other hand, I was the one that could be the guinea pig for their experiments. Have you ever downed a table spoon of cyan pepper at the hands of an older brother?

Now as an adult of advanced age, my older brothers are my friends and that is a good thing.

I think they are a little of both! I have 6 brothers that I grew up with. One minute they were beating the crap outta me the next they were sticking up for me. I love my brothers but sometimes i hated them too. Im glad I have them.

My older brother is a wonderful grown-up of a man!!! However, we did not get along as kids and that was due to lack of parenting--it was neither my brother's fault nor mine, but I was abused.

God wants us to love our brothers as ourselves.

i have an older brother...and i love him very much..and yes their are helpfull even if you want to kill them sometimes lol...........but it is good to have an older brother...................
