On average, not including the war and politics, how many times are you depressed by the news in a given day?
I just find the news so depressing lately, children dying, pro-wrestlers going psycho and killing families, husbands and wives hurting each other... is it worth it to stay informed?

Yes it is depressing, coming from he older days, I can't believe what goes on. When we were kids we played outside in the dark and walked home alone. We could go anywhere and we were safe to do things,. that sure has changed, a kid is not safe even in their yard anymore. The things that people do now is just mindboggling and unheard of, I do believe the end is coming and these are the signs.

I feel down when I listen to the local news. Particularly her in Phoenix where so many children drown or get left in cars and die. It's saddening but it is better to know than be blind to the truth.

zero. I can do nothing about it so I have to stay detached. Which means I hardly EVER look at the news except to find out the weather
