How old is old ?

old is realative. old compared to what? i am x yrs old. this rock is millions of years old. many prople qualify themselves as old. my dad is old, but my grandfather is older. see my point. there is no young or old. measureung things in time is a short, temperary mindset. time is an illusion, created by philosophers who are long dead.

When you are young anything past 10 years in the future is considered old, but as you age it doesnt really matter.

Im 42 and I guarantee you I still school kids in basketball. I guess people decide old in two ways. Those viewing others decide by how someone looks. To my students of course i'm old. (I look like their parents) When you judge yourself, you are deciding about how you feel. My eyesight has gotten worse - but I wear glasses and this has happened all my life - no change there. I for sure am slower on the court, but I have gotten better in other areas.. outside shooting and defense.

You are only as old as you make yourself feel. I've seen people who are 60 and 30 year olds approach them. It's your "presentation" and the way you carry yourself. Your mannerism is your calender. I don't think it's your brain though, because your brain will always think logically and realistically. Reality is based on society. Society says that "40 is the new 30": in other words, in order to be young, you must be as close to thirty as possible. Not true. It's your spirit that shows your age. In the Bible, there is a husband who is speaking to the Lord and says, "I am old and my wife is advanced in age." Since this discovery, I love to joke and say that men get old but women...they "advance in age." Hope it helps!

when you're 10, 18 is OLD.

when your're 20, 30 is OLD.

when you're 35, 40 is OLD.

when you're 45, it doesnt matter anymore.

ive just turned 20 by the way and im really afraid to be 30 because that means im no longer a young adult and the word YOUNG is out of my life for good.

When you are 15, 30 is old...

When you are 30, 50 does not seem so old any more...

When you are 50, 70 does not seem so old any more...

Age, is just a number - if you take care of yourself you are only as old as you feel. I know 40 year olds that are 'younger' than 20 year olds...

I am 44 years young in brain, I have the mind of a child, but I have a bone disease that is cracking my spine. I used to be a weight lifter, now it hurts to buckle my seat belt. Oh well, appreciate life, you only get one.

A combination of the two/three. The way they feel can affect the state of mind for the person of which your asking. Age can be determined as their years-age, or/and their brain, expierence.
