It depends on why you are wearing it.

If you are planning to wear it for a day-to-day basis and you'll mostly be under shade, it shall be suffiecient enough.

    But...

if you are always out in the sun and planning to head to the beach, get a decent moisturizer with a higher level of SPF.

On days when I go out (like to the mall, to the shop or just to meet up with friends) I wear NIVEA TINTED MOISTURIZING CARE. (comes in a 50ml bottle, so far I've had mine since November and I'm still using it almost on a daily basis)

From where I am from, it being a tropical country, it seems to last all day. I wear just that, some lip balm (vaseline lip theraphy) and cheek tint for my cheeks. I'm not so sure if you will have the cheek tint where you are, as it is made by a local manufacturer, Bench. It it feels like its a bit to hot and I assume that it will sweat out, I finish off with a dab of press powder.

For days when I have to be made full-up, I use it as base underneath my make up (the Nivea) as it seems to make my make-up last longer.

Now, if you have really oild skin, you might want to try an liquid to powder or a pancake or powder formulation.

And like all make up products, to remember to remove off all traces of make-up before going to bed.

    Good luck!

I actually like tinted moisterizer. Lasts me a whole work day (unless i touch my face often but then again regular makeup comes off like that too). Foundations and other powders clog up your skin and feel thick and gross. I have combination skin and tinted moisterizer is awesome because its light and leaves a light "dewy" effect. Its more natural and NO you don't need to put foundation/makeup on. It will irritate your skin.

If you're looking for heavier coverage tho, tinted moisturizer won't help you.

    Hope this helps.

tinted mositurizing is alright but if you are trying to get a tan so you do not have to use cover up use spray on tan you can buy it at walmart or rite aid. it will give you a healthy glow. if you decide to go with lotion use jergens tinted.
