who is the photographer or how to find him/her?

i'm trying to find out the photographer who did the photo that now i'm using as an avatar (to formaly ask for clearence). any clues or tips on how to search about it.

also, as apart of my question, how is called this style where the red color is expressed most vividly at the front and the rest of the picture is somehow black and white or some sort of shadowed grayish. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about your photographer search. But the style is called Focal Black & White.

I don't know the formal name for the style, but I call it black and white with a splash of color. It's easy to do. Just take the original color photo, make a black and white layer or grayscale layer over it, then erase the part you want in color.

As for the photographer who took the photo, can't help you. Sorry.

Asking around to other photogs is the best way to search, I think, especially since I cant think of any search terms that wont give you thousands of hits to have to go thru. Its a nice photo, but not unusual enough to easily search. It might not even have a "searchable" photog.

The only other thing, I would suggest, is maybe some photo art history teachers at your local college, or art gallery.

    Good luck.
