NYC Laws.....HELP?

I was wondering, is threatening a teacher a felony under NY law? If I were to argue with someone and what I said was taken as a threat could that person use this law against me? (its a teacher even if I didn't know it, I'm not her student and am also a teacher but in Italy). The incident happened in NYC.

Do teachers in NYC need FBI clearance or is this person talking through their backside? Please this is very important as this person is bombarding me with emails threatening legal action if I do not pay her compensation ( I didn't touch her I just told her that as an Irish American she would better not dis the Irish (as she was) in Ireland)

No teachers do not require FBI clearance. That is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. Absolutely not. You don't have to pay her anything. Tell her to leave you alone or you will get a lawyer against her for harassment and she will lose her teaching license.
