Family friendly hotel suggestion in Amsterdam?

I am looking for a family friendly hotel in Amsterdam that is not too expensive. I am specifically looking for a hotel that has evening babysitting services available.

We will only be in Amsterdam for less than 24 hours (but overnight) and would like to tour the town after our child goes to bed for the evening for a couple of hours.

No, I won't leave my child alone in a hotel room!!

we stayed with an apartment through this company. The owner actually arranged a baby sitter to come around to the apartment so we could go out. http://www.holiday-velvet.com/amsterdam

There are no hotels that offer baby sitting services. One of the best hotels in Amsterdam I stayed was...at a cheap price..was Hotel de Westertoren. Its located in central Amsterdam and sightseeing etc is nearby.

  • Hi Laurie,

You won't find many inexpensive hotels that have babysitting service I think...

    check out http://www.hotels.nl/

I personally don't know any hotels that offer babysitting services but I know some hotels in Amsterdam and I wouldn't leave my kids under their supervision unless it was really an established hotel like the Hilton, Sheraton or Holiday Inn...

I think if you'd ask Amsterdam tourist services they'd be able to tell you...
