howdo i enable cookies? is that the right thing to do?

    Cookies are required for some websites to operate properly...usually secure sites which require login verification. In Internet Explorer go to Tools => Internet Options => select privacy tab and set to medium level which should be fine for most people.

    Open inet options in the control panel and and enter privacy. Set it to allow all cookies and save.
