I think you should get him a gift card so he can buy what he needs...you can buy a lot of things with that money but the gift has to be for both of them.....maybe a plasma tv for their room....maybe a gift card from best buy......maybe a check....it really depends on the person n their taste.....you can both of them nice designer watches.....maybe nice china from macy's or mikasa.....you jus have to think about what might they need maybe furniture so you can get them a gift card from a furniture store....i hope it helped....

My advice is if they are getting married you should give them a Kirby Vacuum Cleaner or CUTCO knives. They have a lifetime warranty and if the marriage doesn't last the vacuum or knives will. You might think about where they are going to live also. If they are getting a new place you might think of a riding lawn mower something that they can have for 30 years or longer. Dishes break, clothes get thrown away, games, blenders, they are to traditional and always get given. My buddy got 10 Collanders, 14 toasters, 17 blenders. You get the idea senseless because what is he going to do with this stuff. He gave me one of everything and his wife was trying to pawn off more stuff on me but I couldn't fit it in my apartment....Ha Ha Ha !!! Good Luck

If the relative is really close to you , you may get a portrait of the bride and the groom done by someone good at it or you may try out gifting a family video with some events of the past which are touchy to your relative.
