Factor out a (-16), this leaves you with:

    (-16) (t^2 - 3t - 40)

Now it looks much easier to handle, eh?

    (t^2 - 3t - 40) = (t - 8) (t + 5)

    So, the factors are:

    (-16) (t - 8) (t + 5)

    Good luck in your studies,

Make the numbers not quite soooo big by factoring out the GCF from all of those terms. I'll give you a hint... are all of those numbers divisible by 16?

Then, you'll end up with a much more manageable factoring problem....although I don't think it can be factored beyond that first step. Not sure.
