I need a DVD burner in a format that will hold more than 4GB. What should I use?

I have an Apple G4. Looking of an external drive/burner that will alow me to put more than the traditional 4GB on a DVD. What format should I consider?

    A normal DVD is roughly 4.5 GB, more than 4GB you wanted.

    Any more, you'll need dual-layer DVD media.
