How do I add FEEDS into my Yahoo 360 page from outside sources?

Perhaps preparation of RSS feeds on our own for our personal websites lil bit difficult process.

But when profiles and blogs are with a well known provider, they themselves prepare the RSS feed automatically for the publications and update it regularly.

So better look whether there is an RSS button for the feed you want to add to your profile. Ofcourse, Yahoo Answers and Yahoo Blogs provide RSS feed buttons. Just copy those short cuts and paste in the RSS feed entry url box, where you want to publish your feed.

This feed publication also is an option provided by the well known providers. Individually to make it for a personal website perhaps seem a bit difficult think.

I think, Yahoo 360 provide this RSS feed publication option. But Yahoo Answers, perhaps not giving that option to publish the feeds.

In short what I wanted to say, its easier to just copy and paste the RSS feed button short cut from providers who create RSS feeds into the profiles or blogs of us with providers who allow RSS feed Publication.

To create RSS feeds of anything and everything we like perhaps a difficult thing. But you can select the best suiting your tastes from the existing providers / created RSS feeds, which also can be your Yahoo Answers Q/A RSS feed.

The RSS feeds get updated periodically with updation of the News and Publications in the site from where we have copied the short cut. This also need not happen on a regular basis. Its completely upto the Site/RSS Provider when to update the RSS feeds. When it gets updated, its seen in your blog also with the content as decided by the RSS feed provider.

Also to be noted that, you may provide the feed in your blog with editing or adding RSS feeds option in your blog.

There seems to be a Time delay (Lead Time) between editing/adding it in your blog and the actual appearance of those feeds. So the problem you may face could be, that some good news, you might have seen and wanted to give the feed link into your blog. You might have coppied the RSS feed short cut and pasted in your RSS feed entry box for that URL, but because of the lead time, perhaps another new news might have come up in that site or it could be also that RSS feed of that site is not updated regularly and hence an old news may appear in your blog.

Perhaps you may use the blast and the link url entry below the blast writing to lead the people to different sites without using the RSS feeds. Just copy and paste the site link in your blast url, with an introductory sentence in caption box and save. And it will appear immediately. This is better where the source link url changes so frequently with differing sites. with 360, RSS feeds you can use with 3 related sites that are stable or that is more similar with the themes of your blog, perhaps one can be Y/A. Whatever news update appear there shall be updated at time intervals as decided by the RSS feed provider.

For immediate purpose and attention draw into a special news item, perhaps its better to use the blast message and blast url link, above the 360 profile.
