Do you believe we should have corporal punishment for certain crimes?

I heard on the news about a guy molesting a 3 year old girl. I think that is horrific, and that we should have punishment of some sort that fits the crime.

    Yes, in cases like that I believe slow torture and suffering is appropriate. I mean the military tortures soldiers for serving their countries (wherever it may be) but scum like this usually gets diagonosed with an "illness" and gets 6 months probation.
