Click on the start button on the extreme bottom left corner and go to control Panel and click on Fonts. A new browser will open up. Add the font file in this browser window and close it. You are all set to use your fonts.

If you are using almost any version of 'Windows'. You should be able to view the 'Font' folder in Explorer.

Right clicking on the folder should give you an 'Add Font' option. Follow prompts from there and fonts will then appear in all programs you run

Be carefull adding fonts it will slow your computer down on some programs. Load some fonts and remove some you don't use and store them in case you need them later. I have about 10,000 fonts and I swap them in and out of the fonts folder if I didn't it would take about 2hrs to boot up my computer.
