Having Party - do u have non-sweet drink recipe?

There won't be a lot of sweet tooths(teeth?) in the crowd. I would like to serve tasty drinks that don't have soda or juice. Something like a bloody mary, etc. would be nice.

    How about a Champagne Cocktail?

I got this recipe off of the food network website.

    4 sugar cubes

    1 bottle Angostura bitters

    1 bottle Champagne, very cold

    Lemon twists, for garnish, optional

Start off by taking a single sugar cube, and while holding it over the opening of a bottle of Angostura bitters, invert the bottle so that some bitters soaks directly into the sugar. Drop the cube into the bottom of a chilled Champagne flute, and then fill the glass with Champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist, if desired. Repeat process 3 more times to make 4 drinks.

    Vampire lestat

    1/2 shot of crown

    1/2 shot of bacardi 151

    1/2 shot of amarretto

ice, crandberry juice and about a shot or so of coke to the top of an 8 oz tumble... nice a bit bitter and gets you pretty tipsy...

there are some variations to this drink to taste... experiment with it and sure you will find one you like... its one of my favorites

good cocktails are all about balance, so anything from the prohibition era or before should qualify as non-sweet drinks.

my personal favorite cocktails are all variations on the manhattan, which are as simple as they are delicious.

typically, manhattans consist of 2.5 oz. of whiskey and 1.5 oz. of sweet vermouth and a dash of bitters all strained over ice and garnished with a cherry.

a really great version is on the cocktail menu at death and company right now which includes black market tea infused sweet vermouth, berhheim wheat whiskey, and a dash of agnostura bitters. it's a really fantastic recipe.

another huge trend in cocktails right now is adding spicy peppers into infusions. i had a really great cocktail called the laughing buddah at Cantina in San Francisco. here is a list of ingredients:

    hangar one buddha’s hand vodka,

lemon, crushed ginger & thai chiles, wild sage honey
