Who feels they have been unfairly cited for violating Community Standards?

I always try to be helpful & sincere with my answers. The only time I might be sarcastic or make a humorous comment (at least I intend it to be humorous) is when I believe the asker isn't really looking for advice, or is asking a fictitious or humorous question. I do not engage in hate speak.

But some "eggshell" members have reported me! I can't believe it. Does anybody else resent this?

We have all had it happen at one time or another. The suggestion from the YA Team is that if the question is -- well, questionable -- don't answer, move on. That will save you from having this happen. Remember, sometimes, it is the asker who does this type of reporting, so this will minimize your risk from that area as well.

It happens. It has happened to me, as well.

Some people probably have ulterior motives. They may just not like your opinion, and if there is any intimation of a possible "violation", they may rat you out.

It defies the point, does it not? Although I may not agree with what some people think or say, I support their right to say it. I believe in the freedom of expression.

I say F Political Correctness. How about being honest with ourselves about our nature?

So yes, I agree with you. It is frustrating that some people refuse to see and hear. They elect to censor the world around them, and, like a Lemming, refusing to acknowledge the reality of its own destiny, the deliberately wear blinders, obscuring themselves from the truth.

yeah i think it's some kind of secret society or something. here's my theory, you responded to someone's question and they didn't like your response, so then they go to your profile and check up on which questions you've anwered and then they just start reporting everything because you pissed them off and then they send messages to all of their friends with your information and they do the same thing. it happened to me and it's hard to find out who exactly it is. It's usually the people the e-mail u and hound u b/c of your responses so i just politely block those people.
