What kind of shampoo and conditioner should my daughter use for her very thick and dense hair?
My daughter has very beautiful, thick, dense hair, and as many of you can understand, it is quite difficult to take care of in terms of making it easier to brush and always look good. Sometimes it takes quite a while to brush out and remove the tangles, even when we use detangler or leave-in conditioner. I use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, but is that best? Also, what would be the best kind of brush to use? Should there be one for when her hair is wet and another for when her hair is dry?

I'm no expert but I also have thick hair. You should probably use a plastic hard-bristled brush when it's wet and a softer bristled brush when it's dry. Or maybe a wooden bristle brush that will distribute oils through her hair.
I also recommend an anti-frizz serum. Even if her hair isn't frizzy it will really help the brush glide through her wet hair.
Good luck.
