Could any big 10 team even go 500 in conference if they were in the big 12?

I don't think any could. I'd say at best Ohio State might go .500 the rest would be bottom dwellers in the big 12.

Wow looking at the answers given you somehow attracted either the biggest Big 10 fans or the biggest morons on earth.

Have any of these people watched any football???

The big 10 looked like drunk bums in nonconference games. They struggled with nobodies. The Illinois/Missouri game was not a classic. Mo played slow. The way they are playing now they would SMOKE Illinois.

MICHIGAN???? Have any of you watched these guys play? SURE they look good against fellow Big 10 bums but give them a good opponent (like Oregon) and they get blown out of the water(at home even)

Someone said Penn state????!! Yes they looked good against teams not in the top 100. Give them a top 75 team? SPUTTER!!!!!!

The answer is simple. Ohio State MIGHT go .500

However they would lose to KU OU Missouri Texas They would also probably lose to a mid tier team much in same way they lost to mid tier Illinois.

The rest of the big 10 would get very few wins if any

hahaha... HEY NOW! the big 12 ain't that good...

and yea... Ohio State would be above .500... they wouldn't go undefeated or anything... prolly more around 5-3 in Big 12 play...

For the most part the only elite conference this year is the SEC... its ridiculous how the SEC teams beat up on each other...

I think Oklahoma would lose 3 or 4 in the SEC... and mizzou would be the same as Kentucky in the SEC....

But to answer you question, the BIG 10 has 4 teams that could and probably go above .500 in the Big 12... Ohio state and Michigan would... and Illinois and Wisconsin could....

i definitely think the Big 12 is better... but not as much as you do

Ohio State is somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-4 against the big 12 teams lifetime, and won at least the last 3 bowl games against big 12 opposition. Mizzou and the Illini game this year was a classic, with mizzou barely winning, 40-36. The Illini are playing much better now, so I would think they would have much the same record. Other than complete stupidity, why would you think the big 12 is much better than the big 10?

CU grad: the Big 10 and the Big 12 both have 4 teams in the top 25, but the Big 12 has 3 in the top 6, and the Big 10 none and only 1 in the top 10. I don't agree with andrew, but give the Big 12 some credit where it is due.

I disagree. I think that Illinois, OSU, Michigan and maybe even PSU could. The BIg 12 is really no better then the Big 10. Other then Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri and Kansas who else is good in the Big 10? Nobody else. And going 500 ain't that difficult if you just have to beat some average teams to get there.

  • If Ohio State and Michigan were in the Big 12, they would both finish in the top three along with Oklahoma. No I'm not a fan of the Big 10.

I think Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Penn State could play with most of the teams in the Big 12. Miss, Kansas, and Oklahoma would kill them all, but they could play with anybody else. Texas would probably win against all these teams.

However, I'm not so sure about in the SEC or PAC-10. Everyone in the SEC (11 bowl eligible teams out 12 if Vandy wins one more) except Old Miss could beat anyone in the Big 10. USC, Cal, Oregon, and Arizona State would slaughter any Big 10.

Well, in a normal year, OSU and UM could contend and go say, top 5 in the Big 12. PSU and Wisconsin might make the top 6, but the rest would be bottom feeders with Baylor. Now if your talking about the SEC, yeah no one would do good.

you should incredibly only look in the mirror and look what you spot. Michigan got here out and lost a huge one to App St and that they with the aid of no capacity positioned something at the same time all twelve months as they lost a pair at abode which by no capacity occurs. Ohio St looses to Illinois that's ok with the aid of i think of Illinois is a specialist team this twelve months, yet Penn St Wisconsin Iowa and Purdue have been avg at acceptable. they only have Ohio St thats been week in and week out consistant and Illinois will i think of be that next twelve months and Michigan perhaps ok next twelve months. yet heavily the enormous Ten has been under hearth and getting beat up by utilising different conferences and that they only havent taken many communities in the back of the woodshed and beat them good yet, they have squeeked out a gaggle. i admire the way forward for the enormous Ten it seems that like Indiana is putting out to come back alive perhaps and that i agree the full convention is prevailing video games yet Minnesota that's a shame as they're frequently the warring parties and only get in the Bowl activity. you have an particularly very point convention and once you beat one yet another up as they're doing without real front runners different than OSU it makes you look susceptible. they're living an SEC existence this twelve months however the enormous communities only are actually unable to maintain the little communities from beating them. All of school soccer is getting a similar consequences so its only college soccer, honestly everyone seems to be the weaker convention different than theirs. Hell i'm a Kentucky fan and living good till S. Carolina then we beat LSU then we loose to Mississippi St, like what occurred right here, lol. save taking section on your enormous Ten and struggling with for them, its what makes college soccer particular.

  • are you kidding me the big ten would dominate the big 12 there is only oklahoma and a decent texas and missouri team. and im a CU grad.
