can illegal immigrants who speak fluent english and go to college apply for a canadian visa?

I say sure why not.... WE have enough immigrants here for twenty years who cant string a decent sentence of English together. Hiding behind "multiculturalism".

If someone learns the language, goes to school, assimilates, pays taxes, joins the community...not for their own selfish "cultural blackmail" reasons but to further the society then perfect apply for a visa...

If there is not enough room on the "list" deport some more gangsters and their grandparents sucking from the social welfare and medical systems.

All people are not the same, some people have a harder time learning then others, and no english is hard to learn for foreign people. I know some people from germany that have a hard time speaking english and the people i know are very smart so it is the person some understand better then others! Jeff!

sometimes I feel really sad to see how selfish are some people,,this kids didnt ask to be here and they were trapped by the system, not they are not even allowed to go to college, and most of them have a tax id identification number, we are tlaking about the thousands of students that were dreaming to get a legal status through the dream act, we are talking about a group of young people with no criminal records and excellent scores, great gpa, they still have no chance to apply to canada or any other country? that is sad, thanks god I was born here, but I feel sorry this is really bad, they did not ask to be here in usa , imagine someone who has been here as a baby, finish high school and have great scores and see his or her classmates going to college , get a decent job , and u can not even drive,, succckkss,

The only way to leave the USA is to deport, if you are illegal, even if you voluntarily deport. The US is not going to send you to the country of your choice. Immigration for illegals is pretty much the same in developed countries. The Dream Act didn't pass because most people in this country don't want it. That should tell you something.

It really does not hurt to try and and apply for a visa in canada. if they are successful, I don't imagine homeland security having anything to say on their way out. They are legally leaving to go some place else.

who says they dont have a chance in their HOME countries either?? if they speak english, better yet for them! with that, they can definately seek education more easily in their HOME countires......or are they going to scream and cry "racism" just because the dream act didnt pass??
