i just bought a mobile phone, its a NOKIA 6300, but i cant use it to get on internet with my optus pre-pay SIM, coz it was blocked by vodafone AU, subscriable to pack data first, link not available, how to fix it, help!!!

have the service provider of the SIM you are going to use to send the details to your phone to update your settings and then set them as default once installed (these will arrive as text messages.) you would usually get these settings by going online to their site and looking for 'Operater Settings' or ringing a number from your phone to Customer Services.
once done goto your phones menu and check connection settings access points and packet data ore set to your provider.
