Recommendation on digital picture frames for the technically challenged.?
I'd like to get a digital picture frame for someone who is a bit technically challenged. Having capabilities like wifi or the ability to go get pictures off the Internet are not practical in this case, the frame will be in an environment where it won't be technically possible. I just need one that a bunch of pictures can be put on a memory card - stick it in and it goes. It needs to be easy to operate - any recommendations for good vs bad? Please don't point me at a web site unless it's for a specific model - I'm looking for replys from people with first hand experience.
If you have one and hate it or love it - that is what I'm trying to find out.

I have an 8" Pandigital that I purchased at CostCo. I'd never heard of the brand but read a review on KenRockwell.com and was sold as this guy is a stickler for performance. It takes most memory card formats, just plug the card in and turn it on. It also comes with two interchangeable frames and remote control (which i personally find useless). it does a great job of randomizing the images and the transitions are so-so. But the display quality and the colors are awesome!!
We bought ours after we'd bought the same one for my mom for Mother's Day because we were so impressed by it.

It's available on Amazon and many other retailers as well.
Good luck!

How small are the digital photos? questioning approximately a digital camera telephone? those days you may get a standalone 5mp digital camera for greater or less $a hundred, that would desire to be plenty for a 10x8. Printout length additionally relies upon on the DPI used. seen numerous digital frames right here interior the states that are 8x10.

I have a Philips at home and it's very easy to use with a good image quality.
If Telefunken are sold in your country, the newest 10" with a high 1024x728 pixels resolution has a great image quality (certainly the best on the market today) but it's harder to use and more expensive...
