Why have i been asked to go for a flu jab??

I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago i am not diabetic but i do suffer from ibs (irritable bowel syndrome i'm confused about this as my doctor sent me a letter saying I suffer from a medical condition which puts me at risk of flu ?

Update:

Any condition which impacts on or impairs the immune systems functioning makes you more vulnerable to the effects of flu.Not having a gallbladder combined with IBS may put you in the category of those perceived to be at greater .risk

My opinion is that everyone should have a flu jab, I have had mine this year, and have done so for the last fifteen years, at one time employers paid for the jab, go and have it, it will not harm you.........

It may be your age, or it may be a computer audit error, it would not of course do you any harm anyway.
