The two above me are wrong. To become a judge you have to do the following:

    1. Study. I recommend you look at The Official Rule Book( http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/yugioh/en/gamep... ), the Basic AND Advanced Gameplay FAQs( http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/yugioh/en/gamep... ), and Yu-Gi-Oh tournament policies( http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/COMMUNITY/files... ). You will be tested on materials in all 3.

    2. When you feel confident you can pass go to http://www.ude.com/judge and register for the site. To do that you need an UDE number, which is used to enter UDE tournaments. If you don't have an UDE number then email UDE at ude@upperdeck.com and request one. Remember, the test is "open book" and you can use whatever resources are available to you. In addition to the above links use this http://www.netrep.net/ if you need to look up a card for any reason.

    3. Know that if you fail you will be able to retest in 7 days. ^_^ So just study harder.
