You know what i find helps me, Chamomile.

I take the stuff by Traditional Medicinals, its certified Organic,

    AND its Pharmacuetical grade.

If needed put two tea bags in a mug, flavor with some honey

and enjoy. Its a mild relaxant .

Also you may want to take some high potency vitamin

with B comlpex, those are your 'stress' vitamins, and support your adrenals, also some coral calcium/magnesium would

    help your nerves too.

If it gets bad take a quarter xanax, just break the pills

into 4ths, which i have done on particularly stressful

    days...

Oh and consider changing jobs, or companies.

First of all, if you are "working all the time" something is very wrong. I would suggest you take some serious time out and evaluate what this job is doing to your health and life. No job is worth that.

Second, yes, health food stores have many things that can help, but again it's putting a bandaid on a gushing wound, you must get to the root of the stress. Try lavender oil in a nice relaxing bath before bed.

Deep, slow breathing throughout the day. Don't drink caffiene, that creates stress. Eat healthy, that will help your body to be stronger to handle the negative affects of stress.

Stress kills and creates disease and illness. Please think about changing jobs soon to save your health.

When I got divorced, I took

St. Johns Wort and Kava Kava.

    I've heard good things about

Valerian, I think it is called.

    I have found marathon running,

    which requires getting up early,

works for me, but any type of

    exercise helps, too.

I wouldn't take anything like that

    during work, though.

I have heard Xanax is really addictive.

    Mostly, those prescription medications

just give people a new set of problems.

DO NOT TAKE A DRUG!! That is the last thing you need. Take 30 mins out of each day and give it to yourself. Take a walk, breathe deeply. Walk at night if you must, but walk. If you pass a church and it's doors are open, go in, sit down and look around and relax. Walking in the woods does wonders. Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Good luck to you.

my friend says she has been taking 1/4 of a mg for 2 years and can go days and weeks without it. But takes it when she is really stressed out....it works quickly... no adverse affects... I would take the prescription...... don't mess with herbs and other things...they can actually cause you more problems! Do as doctor says........
