Is there documented scientific proof, and what is it?

I am curious to know if there is any scientifically documented stone cold factual evidence showing there is or is not any such thing as "physic" power..I am not talking about mediums/card readers and people like that, I am talking about people who just know things and these things come true.

Update:

if I am not mistaken, Duke University has/had a whole department devoted to the study of paranormal/parapsychology...

so even with this department being a part of the campus, still no proof? How do they justify keeping that particular department open??? Just curious...

No. There is no scientifically documented proof. All we have are anecdotes, 'strange' coincidences etc etc.

I have always believed that there is some natural "psychic" ability which has nothing to do with involvement in the occult. Ever since I became a mother, I have noticed that I have these strange little intuitions about things that almost always turn out to be right. Most mothers have this gift with their own children.

Most people at some time or other in their lives will have "gut feelings" about something without any logical explanation of why it would be so, and later will find out that they were right.

In the old Gaelic world, natural psychic ability above and beyond the usual mother's intuition and occasional gut feelings was often referred to as the "Second Sight." People who had this natural ability were often sought out, but were also in danger of being accused of witchcraft.

I personally have not looked into documentation, because I have been afraid of running into occult practitioners. As a teen I would sometimes (like most curious teens) dabble a little with the occult; as a result, in my case, I had the experience of evil spiritual influences in my house. So I have stayed away from anything that might smack of the occult, for fear of contact with an evil "otherworld." Also I am a Christian. But no doubt there must be some documentation of these natural psychic abilities somewhere. I will very carefully be on the lookout.

There is NO concrete evidence of ANYTHING "supernatural" at all, probably because it isn't there!

James "The Amazing" Randi has had a MILLION DOLLAR gift available for some time, free to anyone who can demonstrate ANY 'supernatural' occurence or power under routine scientific conditions.

No-one can "tell the future", but statistics often gives the impression they can. Think about it, people die ALL THE TIME...If I stand in a room of 50 or more people and say "I sense someone here has recently lost a close friend or family member", I will be correct over 90% of the time! Am I psychic? Of course not!

An entire branch of science is devoted towards documenting and recording scientific information regarding the physical nature of the universe and it is called physics. I hope that helps!

    Peace out.

No, there is not any. If there was such a person, they would hit the LOTTO (c) often. Don't you think?

No. And if there were wouldn't we all know that by now? And we would know the future too.
