How do I upload songs from my computer to an Ipod? It doesnt come with any software?????

Update:

I am trying to put songs from a cd onto this stupid thing...the ONLY way is through i tunes???

    I got an iPod for Christmas and have just recently figured this out, you have to go to the apple website and download iTunes, and this will be the program used to add songs from your computer to your iPod. iTunes is free to download.
