how do I put win xp to new dard drive?

my hard drive completely failed so I have a new one, so how do I put back the operating system which is win xp without the back up disc which I also lost

    first change the boot priority to boot from cd rom then insert your xp disc and then follow the directions and create xp in a new partition. and it will do the rest! It is fairly automatic. Just make sure you have all your drivers in order (like board driver and video drivers.)

    Dear friend

    1- Copy all files and folder exist on C: Drive (be sure that all hidden file and folders was copied)

    2- Paste them on new hard drive in primary petition

    3- Unplug your old hard disk device

    4-boot your system with Winxp installation CD

    5-in first menu press "R" to using Recovery console

    6-in first prompt appear type 1 and then press enter

    7-Type your administrator password and press enter

    8-then type two commands:

    fixmbr

    fixboot
