Well i bought a new comp. about a year ago and it came with vista. I have a decent system, been runing vista for about a year and i really have not had any serious problems. At firts i hated vista i thought it only looks prettier but it;s a really bad system. I eventually began liking it and some of it's features like the readyboost, the new task manager, problem reporting, and performance. Now when i use an xp i do see the difference i feel it slower and with a lot more problems. Vista is better than xp but it is not a great product it still has some issues internet explorer stops responding often, burning a dvd takes forever on windows dvd maker, uac is annoying and you usually end up turning it off, i don't like the new disk defrag., the os hugs too much of the system resources and so on. I usually don't recommend vista namely because it's too overpriced but if you already have it and your system can run it smoothly than keep it you will eventually see that it is not a bad os. I still don't really like windows i've been using more and more linux and i'll probably switch to mac, but i do find that vista is better than xp, ms is already releasing a service pack that greatly imrpoves performance according to the testers, and there is also a lot of software that is being developed for vista that we will see coming up in the following years. At this moment the vista experience will only get better. But don't take our words if you have it try it for a few weeks, if you don't like go back to xp or install linux.

I just got Windows Vista about 2 wks ago and I love it! It is different and I too was frustrated at the beginning, but just take it slow and you'll learn. I think it's ten times better than Windows XP now that I've learned how to navigate in it! I almost returned it to the store, but instead I got away from the computer when I got frustrated and aggravated then sat down again and Voila, it just came to me and it's soo cool!

in the start, i theory homestead windows Vista grew to become into undesirable and that i grew to become into frightened of catching a trojan or virus after listening to the horror thoughts. After some months, my self belief grew to become into larger employing Vista. it variety of feels to be swifter after the latest provider %. launch and maximum programes have compatibility. some days back, I put in 'homestead windows 7' to objective it as element of its loose trial, presented by employing Microsoft, yet grew to become into no longer pleased with it. no longer purely have been some classes incompatible, yet Microsoft won't supply technical help. homestead windows XP homestead and professional grew to become into stable on the time, yet seems too old. Vista is 7/10 in my journey!
