Service Schedule?
I have a 2007 Sonata which i use for local commuting. I have owned the car for six months and I have less than 3600 miles on it. I have already brought my car into the dealership twice to have the oil changed and service performed. Should I stick with the every three month service policy or should I got by the actual mileage that is accumalted?

well, you want to make sure if you DONT go every 3 months that it doesnt void your warranty. as long as it doesnt, then going every 3 mo regardless of miles is LUNACY. You can safely get away with changing your oil every 3-5K miles, regardless of what the dealer says. remember they want to see you often so they can charge you every time!

Know the Maintenance Schedule
The first step to following a regular maintenance schedule is being aware of what that schedule is. You should have received information regarding suggested maintenance when you got your car. If you lost it, either talk to the team at your service center or get the information online. You won’t be able to keep a maintenance schedule without knowing what it says.
Write It Down
Once you understand your car's maintenance schedule, you are ready to work toward remembering it. If you have a calendar, start by writing down all the relevant maintenance intervals in it. This works for digital and physical calendars, with digital ones having the benefit of letting you put maintenance down for years in advance.
Get an App
There are also numerous maintenance applications for your smartphone or tablet that can help you out. Find a free application that asks for your car model and then reminds you when it is due for service. Some will even help you schedule maintenance with ease.
Schedule It All
A final option is to see how far in advance the service center at your dealership will let you schedule regular maintenance. If you can, make appointments for everything. All dealerships will at least call, text, or email you a reminder before the service appointment. If you can’t book that far in advance, simply make it a point to schedule your next service before leaving the dealership every time.
